About Julia
For the past 15 years I have been a chaplain in various settings including metro and rural hospitals, an eating disorder treatment center, a mental health hospital and most recently hospice care. I received my Clinical Pastoral Education from M Health Fairview at Fairview Southdale and the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis. I completed a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary.

While I have loved working in healthcare settings, I’m excited to be able to offer Jesus-centered spiritual care to the community. Whether you’re a young adult discerning important choices, a busy parent taking care of everyone else, rebuilding your life after divorce or widowhood or a ministry leader needing restoration, your situation matters. You are worth taking time for so that you can live as freely and fully as possible.

I believe that all people are worthy of love and belonging and that everyone has the possibility of a life filled with joy, healthy relationships and a deep connection with God. The patients and families I’ve been privileged to know as a chaplain have been some of my greatest teachers about what matters in life, how to overcome significant challenges and ultimately how to live with wholeness and peace.
My husband and I live in Northfield, Minnesota with our three wonderful girls, a golden retriever and a horse. We equally love outdoor adventure and pizza and movie nights on the couch.
